WinFX becomes DotNet Framework 3.0
Fresh news from Microsoft, WinFX is going to be DotNet Framework 3.0, and not only that but also Info Card is now renamed to Windows CardSpace (WCS)
Microsoft says that this is only to reduce confusion between WinFX and DotNet framework as most of feedbacks about WinFX were "WinFX is great, but what happpened to DotNet !!!",
also Microsoft announced that this is just a naming change and this doesn't affect the technologies and shipping dates, DotNet Framework 3.0 will be shipped with Windows Vista and will be available down to Windows XP and Windows 2003...
Some other stuff mentioned about LINQ, that it will not be part of DotNet Framework 3.0, but it will be shipped with Visual Studio ORCAS, which means that ORCAS will introduce new changes to dotnet which is wierd because LINQ project introduced C# 3.0 which is supposed to be part of DotNet Framework 3.0 and this increases the confusion...
